On July 28, 2025 Cathie Wood's ARK Invest poured in $20
million into BitMine shares while scaling back exposure to Bitcoin clients like
Coinbase, Block and Robinhood through the reshuffling of its portfolio about
cryptocurrencies. Cathie Wood's ARK Invest gave a solid boost to its investment
in BitMine Immersion Technologies with an estimated purchase of over $20
million in shares across three of its actively managed ETFs.
This was also in line with their plans for BitMine aside from ARK's daily trading disclosures.
Following BitMine's announcement with respect to the extent of Ether ETH $3,798 within
its portfolio having exceeded that of $2 billion, this strategic Ether Reserves
shows BitMine to be the largest Ether treasury firm, 566,800 ETH under its
care, followed by SharpLink Gaming, which has 360,800 ETH.
This follows last week's $182 million BitMine buy. However,
despite ARK's pivot into the ETH treasury company, its stock has been
struggling. BitMine's stock plunged nearly 27% on Monday before paring losses
to close down 11.78%.
